这三部分结构严谨，犹如建造大厦一样，所有的部分都是按照逻辑关系，围绕着论点（thesis）有机组合在一起的。
1.An academic essay begins with an introduction that gives a main point.Introduction一般需要包括background,general statement and thesis.Thesis通常位于introduction的结尾，让读者明白该文的论点。
如何区别thesis是否写得好，我们来看一个例子:
需要写一篇作文比较19世纪美国南北战争:
Essay assignment
Compare and contrast the reasons why the North and South fought the Civil war.
Weak thesis：
The North and South fought the Civil War for many reasons,some of which were the same and some different.
点评：这个论点只是简单重复了问题，没有给出更多的信息。读者读到这句话会疑惑：“具体原因是什么？哪里原因相同，哪里原因不同？”。
A working thesis：
While both sides fought the Civil War over the issue of slavery,the North fought for moral reasons while the South fought to preserve its own institutions.
点评：这句话比第一句话好，包含了战争的原因，以及南北双方具体在哪方面有争执。但是“moral reasons”太宽泛了，包含多种道德因素。文章论点需要更具体。
A strong thesis：
While both Northerners and Southerners believed they fought against tyranny and oppression,Northerners focused on the oppression of slaves while Southerners defended their own right to self-government.
点评：与第一个weak thesis相比，这句话具体地把论点展示出来，读者可以很清楚地预期正文的内容。
在日常exam代考、essay代写中，有些同学的thesis是这样写的：
This essay will identify a major cause of water scarcity and focus on the solutions of the problem.
点评：这是一个weak thesis,因为没有能够具体反映正文讨论的内容。读者看了这句话并不知道你的具体论点是什么。
我们看一个范例Sample thesis：
This essay will identify a major cause of decreasing biodiversity.It will specifically focus on the solutions of improving agricultural productivity and preserving green areas.
So Your thesis statement should be specific—it should cover only what you will discuss in your paper and should be supported with specific evidence.
2.Body paragraphs正文
The thesis is supported by a series of body paragraphs with sub-points
正文是围绕着thesis论点来展开的。一般来讲，body paragraph的第一句话是中心句topic sentence。中心句是段落的中心思想，其余句子都是解释或者支撑topic sentence的论点，被称为supporting sentence。结尾句concluding sentence一般为该段落中心意思的总结或者为过渡句，目的是连接下一段。
在body paragraphs代写上，同学们常犯的错误有三点：
第一种错误是引用格式不正确。
比如常见的Harvard citation主要包括三要素，Arthur’surname（姓），year，para。
引用分为information prominent citation和author-prominent citation。

第二种错误无法区分自己的观点和引用的观点。有些同学的一段body paragraph除了第一句和结尾句都是引用的观点，没有自己的观点。还有一些同学一段body paragraph没有引用的观点或者只有一个。
解决方法：
引用的观点是为了支持自己的观点。代写的时候要记着段落中句子与句子的关系。
第三种错误是reporting verb的使用。
当需要引用其它文章信息，并且需要使用author-prominent citations,句子需要使用reporting verbs。两种常见的错误是，有的同学会使用informal reporting verbs，比如say;有的同学搞不清楚reporting verbs后面跟句子还是名词，比如有同学会错误地在describe后面跟句子。
3.Conclusion结尾段需要重申论点（thesis），概况正文中心大意，提出挑战，建议或展望未来。
有些同学在结尾段会忘记概括正文中心大意。概括文章中心大意可以通过改写正文中心句完成（paraphrasing topic sentences)
在文章的结尾，为大家提供一些代写的Tips：
1，先看题目。划出topic和focus。注意一定要看清楚是要求写某个现象产生的原因还是造成的结果cause(reasons)or impact(problems)。
